Boat Smart From The Start – Independence Day at Fort LauderdaleDon’t have any plans for the 4th yet? Check out the City of Fort Lauderdale’s FREE 4th Of July Spectacular will be taking place on Fort Lauderdale Beach (A1A and Las Olas Boulevard) from 12:30–9:30 PM

The event includes activities for the whole family, including a DJ, bounce houses, beach games and contests–including one hosted by 101.5 LITE FM, a performance by the American Legion Symphonic Orchestra, live music, and, per tradition, a fantastic fireworks show to end the evening at 9 PM!

To avoid the traffic, travel by sea! The City of Fort Lauderdale is offering a new transportation option to attend the event. Water Shuttle Pick–Ups will be taking place at Las Olas Riverfront, being free for children under the age of 3, seniors over the age of 60, and those with Military IDs, and only $5 for everyone else! Anticipation Yacht Charter departs on the hour, while the Water Taxi departs every 15 minutes from noon thru 11 PM.
